Emerging Leaders History

Emerging Leaders

The Emerging Leaders Program was born from our Emerging Leaders Retreat, piloted in Seattle in 2019, where MVA welcomed 25 individuals from around the country for a three-day leadership retreat. The retreat has evolved into an ongoing development program complete with training opportunities and the facilitation of a supportive cohort community.

I heard the Emerging Leaders Program is free to participants?

Yes!

Holding true to our mission of creating belonging and advancing equity for minority veterans, we do not believe that cost should be a barrier to access for participation.

Resilience isn’t a moment, it’s a mindset. We learn to be resilient through our experiences and hearing the experiences of others.
