Minority Veterans of America’s Emerging Leaders Program is designed to invest in developing the next generation of minority veteran leaders as they continue to make differences in their own communities.
Working to address the leadership gap that exists for minority veterans, the program includes an annual retreat, 12 months of personal and professional development opportunities, and mentorship from community partners, career coaches, and program alumni.
Our Emerging Leaders Program consists of core training, a weekend retreat, 12-months of leadership development, and mentorship and coaching.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of MVA’s approach to Equity, Justice, and Inclusion
Gain a deeper understanding of yourself and be able to create a plan for developing your more ideal self
Understand your authentic leadership style and be able to create a plan for advancing your leadership skills
Foundations begin with understanding and employing self-care, vulnerability, and resiliency concepts
Create, grow, and strengthen social action organizations, and develop a plan for developing your organization
