Reporting Violations:

Reporting Violations

If you believe a member or leader of MVA has violated these these Rights & Responsibilities, you can submit an internal grievance to MVA at report@minorityvets.org. These grievances will be sent directly to the Chair of the Board of Directors.

If you need help or are in crisis, a variety of resources can be found at MVA Resources. This list is ongoing so please return periodically for additions.

Please remember that minoritized communities are impacted differently in situations involving police/legal interventions, and consider mobile crisis teams and other alternatives to law enforcement when possible and safe to do so. You can read more about this topic and find alternative resources here: “What to do Instead of Calling the Police” by Arron Rose.

If you are physically harmed or threatened with violence, seek necessary medical assistance and contact local authorities and/or legal representation.
