Meet Pittsburgh's Chapter Leader

Nathan Porter has served under and deployed in support of almost every global military operation since 2010 including Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Freedom’s Sentinel,  and Operation Inherent Resolve.

Taking what he learned from his journey of joining under the shadow and subsequent repeal of DADT, Nathan has become a mental health and social justice advocate who strives to create justice and equity for all.

When he’s not working, you might find him hanging out at home with his ever growing family of dogs and goats, or welding a strange metal sculpture in his back yard.

"When you learn, teach, when you get, give."

Find your community. We're building a movement.
