Meet Pittsburgh's Chapter Leader

Blair J. Mickles hails from just outside of Pittsburgh, PA and is an 11.5 year Army combat veteran. Blair has volunteered with many veteran organizations and worked in nonprofit spaces.

Wanting to further improve her community, she is a full-time graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing her MSW and MPIA-Human Security. Outside of class, Blair is currently working on professional research and sometimes runs into burning buildings as a volunteer firefighter.

"When you learn, teach, when you get, give."
